Relief Efforts
As we're all facing unprecedented circumstances, standing together is the strongest way forward. At Tommy Hilfiger, we are determined to give back and provide support where it's needed the most.
Through our parent company PVH, we'll further aid the medical community by delivering more than 4 million units of Personal Protection Equipment (“PPE”) NYC's Montefiore Health System in New York with close to 6 million PPE units planned in total. In New York, we're also donating backpacks to help underprivileged and homeless children who are traveling to pick up their lunch from school.
We are committing an additional $1 million toward COVID-19 relief efforts, for a total donation of $2 million. This extra funding will go towards various medical, community and industry relief initiatives, selected with input from our employees. It will support local needs organizations across countries in Asia, Australia, Europe, South America and North America.
Furthermore, we have donated $275,000 to the Chinese Society of the Red Cross and we've contributed $50,000 to A Common Thread by the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
The road ahead is uncertain. But if we take care of each other, optimism can go a long way. Stay home, keep a safe distance, call your loved ones - in these times, greatness sometimes lies in the little things.
Store Updates
Most of our stores in the US and Canada are open. As we monitor local conditions, the well-being and safety of our associates and consumers remain our top priority.
We’ve taken precautions to make shopping safe, by limiting occupancy to promote social distancing, ensuring we maintain a minimum distance of six feet apart at all times, and requiring all associates to wear masks. We’ve also increased the frequency of routine cleanings throughout the store.
In line with recent CDC guidance, we will no longer require fully vaccinated shoppers to wear masks in our stores in the U.S., where state and local regulations allow. Disposable masks will continue to be made available to customers in all our stores. In-store cleaning protocols, social distancing and other enhanced safety measures, including reduced capacity limits, remain in place and we will adjust our practices, if needed, as conditions continue to improve.
We're doing our best to keep our store operating hours updated. Before heading out, please just give us a ring at your local store to ensure that nothing has changed for your store's schedule.
