2015 is gearing up to be another big year for Chelsea Tyler and Jon Foster. The couple is back at home in Venice, CA enjoying some well deserved down time after a whirlwind fall season that included releasing two EP’s on iTunes and an appearance at the Made in America festival in Philadelphia. On the agenda: relax and catch up with friends before beginning work on their first full-length album and planning their upcoming wedding.
Tyler and Foster’s style is low-key, much like the couple themselves. Jeans and t-shirts are the uniform, no makeup for her, shaving only when necessary for him.“We like keeping things easy,“says Tyler, the group’s vocalist and youngest daughter of Aerosmith front-man Steven Tyler. She was in art school when she met Foster, a musician and actor who has appeared in the CBS comedy Accidentally on Purpose and in feature films including The Door in the Floor and The Informers. Music was an instant bond for the duo when their mutual friend Zoë Kravitz introduced them. They’ve been together ever since, writing, performing, and living the kind of bohemian existence that is par for the course of young and in-love rock stars.
